Can a Momo's wala earn Rs 2 Lakhs

If you are from Delhi then it is impossible that haven't heard of momo's. Everyone loves momo ,no one can resist it. In fact there is a momo's wala is every corner of any society .This made us curious about how much a momo's wala can earn, So we when to a momo shop and this what we found, but before checking the earning of momo's wala let's look at the earnings of a corporate employee.

How much a corporate employ Earn?

Before telling you the average package of any corporate employee, I would like to tell you that to get into any corporate you need to have graduation and post graduation degree for the job you apply for and no company takes you without a degree even to be a library there is a degree of B. LIB (Bachelor in Library Sciences). The average package of corporate obviously depends on the post you get but the range starts from Rs5 lakhs and goes up to Rs 25 lakhs per annum.

Now looking at the earning of a momo's wala. That is actually double what you get as a corporate employee . We talked to the momo's wala bhaiya to get actual idea of his earnings and calculating the net profit after all expenditures, it was around Rs 1,95,360 or 1.95Rs lakhs

Monthly revenue is around 4.35Rs lakhs

The expenditure include the salary of the people they employ (8 People), The rent of godown for making momo along with all the vegetables and essential cost. 

On average one momo plate is around Rs 50 and there are 7 different types of momo's which start from 50Rs per plate and go up to Rs 80 per plate.They manage to sell around 200 plates per day.

So let's say you get in  great company which gives you regular appraisal of 15% every year (please note that this company is totally imaginary and not based on any stats but this is more than what you get in real life)then after 5 year you package will become 15.5 Lakhs Rs that is around 1.3 Lakhs Rs per month. There is no boundaries to the level to which you can expand your business same is in the case of momo's  business. So let's take a real

life example- you may have heard of WOW momo's. That was started from a garage and under an umbrella stall, now the WOW momo's has valued more than Rs 500 Crores .

We should not forget that the corporate jobs provide you with a better living standards and benefits other than salary. They mostly get health insurance, sick leave, Trips ect.
